Friday Notes – The True Trader
ByWhile I probably filled enough space for a week with yesterday’s “Pay it Forward” Thanksgiving post, one onlooker forwarded me the attached which – if you read between the lines of every single post since we began this public trek – sums up everything I’ve been trying to say.
My favorite part? “God is glorified when we use our God-given passion and skills with excellence.”

I invite people the next time they read or hear the parable of the good Samaritan to consider Jesus’ charge at the end carefully.
“Now go and do likewise”
Of course be like the Samaritan. But also and more important in my opinion is to walk the road to Jericho. Only by walking the road to Jericho can you find out who is truly your neighbor, which is what the lesson is about in the first place. It gives a much deeper and complex meaning.
